Polyacrylamide is widely used in the paper making industry. It can be used as paper making dispersant, paper making retention aid, and paper making wastewater treatment flocculant.
1. Polyacrylamide as paper making dispersant: Generally, we use anionic polyacrylamide with molecular weight between 14-18 million.
2. Polyacrylamide as paper making retention aid: It is recommended to use high quality cations, so that the effect of filtration aiding is better, and the dosage is more economical.
3. Polyacrylamide as paper making wastewater treatment flocculant: In the process of paper making wastewater treatment, the selection of polyacrylamide should be based on the situation of sewage, on-site sewage treatment process and sludge dewatering equipment. Generally, cationic polyacylamide with molecular weight of more than 9 million is selected as sludge dewatering agent.
