Product Description:
The sand(coal) washing coagulant is an organic polymer product that can helpstabilize the surface charge of sediment (coal) particles, reduce the electric poten.tial, and cause aggregation and precipitation, The main function is to separatemud and water.
Benefits:
Water Recycling: Supports 100% water reuse, lowering operational expenses.
Sludge Dewatering: Produces high-solid-content discharge, reducing disposal volume.
Geological Adaptability: Compatible with varying pH levels and specific gravities.
Specifications:
Appearance | Colorless or light-color sticky liquid |
water-solubility | Good |
molecular weight | High |
PH | 3.0-7.0 |
Ionic | Cationic |
Applications:
This product, a clear and sticky liquid, serves as a substitute for polyaluminum chloride. When added to a mixture of mud and water along with PAM (polyacrylamide), and processed through a belt press, plate - frame filter, or centrifuge, it rapidly separates mud from water, optimizes water quality utilization, and ensures high sludge dewatering efficiency.
The coagulant for sand (coal) washing operations works by neutralizing the surface charge of sand (coal) particles, decreasing their zeta potential, and facilitating agglomeration and sedimentation. The mud - separating precipitant functions based on a flocculation mechanism: once its adsorption groups attach to the surface of sediment particles, the molecular chains bridge and interweave, causing the particles to precipitate. In sand (coal) washing wastewater with low sediment content, sedimentation occurs easily. However, in wastewater with high sediment levels, distinct layering may not be evident. It is advisable to perform laboratory tests prior to use to determine the appropriate dosage and associated costs.
Usage and precautions:
1) lt can be uniformly and continuously added to the wastewater treatment system after being diluted in any proportion, ordirectly added to the wastewater after being diluted 5-20 times, stirred, and settled.
2) When treating diferent sources of water and sewage, the dosage is determined based on the turbidity and concentration of the treated water, and the optimal dosage can be obtained through small-scale trials. Careful selection of dosing points and stiring speed is necessary to ensure even mixing with the material while avoiding the crushing of the floc.
Package and storage:
The package is 1000 kg IBC.
The product should be stored in a dry and ventilated environment . Shelf life is 6 months at room temperature.
