Product Description

Dyeing Wastewater Decoloring Chemicals PolyDCD

Cationic Copolymer Decoloring Agent

Description:
The water decolorant composed of dicyandiamide-formaldehyde resin can effectively remove color from dye-containing wastewater through a dual mechanism. As a quaternary ammonium cationic copolymer, it releases abundant cations that neutralize the negative charges on dye molecules, thereby destroying the stability of their colloidal structure. Meanwhile, its hydrolysis produces large flocculent substances (such as the CW-08 formula), which can adsorb and encapsulate the destabilized dye particles. This integrated process of charge neutralization and flocculation enables the effective separation of dyes from water. The decolorant exhibits outstanding performance in decolorization, floc formation, and chemical oxygen demand (COD) reduction. Therefore, it is particularly suitable for treating complex industrial dye wastewater.

Application:

1.Primary Function

Specialized in high-efficiency decolorization of industrial effluents, particularly for:

Reactive, acidic, and disperse dyes (common in dye manufacturing)

Wastewater from textile dyeing, pigment production, printing ink, and paper manufacturing

2.Secondary Application

Acts as a retention agent in paper/pulp production, enhancing process efficiency.

Instructions for use:

1. Dilution Requirement

Dilute the product with water at a 1:10 to 1:40 (product:water) ratio before use.

Stir thoroughly for several minutes, then clarify via sedimentation or air flotation.

2. Optimal pH Range

Maintain wastewater pH between 6 and 10 for best results.

3. High-Strength Wastewater Treatment

For highly colored or high-COD effluents, combine with inorganic flocculants to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Determine dosage and application sequence based on flocculation tests and process conditions.

4. Low-Temperature Handling

May experience layer separation or whitening in cold conditions—remix well before use; performance remains unaffected.

Water Decolorant Performance Highlights:

High-Efficiency Decolorization: Removes 85–95% of dyes from solution.

COD Reduction: Lowers Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) by ~60%.

Enhanced Process Efficiency: Promotes faster sedimentation and improved flocculation.

Eco-Friendly Composition: Contains no aluminum, chlorine, or heavy metal ions, ensuring environmental safety.

Success Cases:

Decolorization of dyeing waste water

1. Samples of Printing and Dyeing Wastewater Sent by the Customer

the wastewater samples were deeply colored and turbid.

2. Customer Requirements: the customer requested decolorization of the wastewater.

3. Experimental Procedures
   a. Add a decolorizing agent.
   b. Add PAC (Polyaluminium Chloride).
   c. Add PAM (Polyacrylamide).

4. Comparison of Experimental Results
After using our company's decolorizing agent, significant decolorization effects were observed in the wastewater from both the drainage outlet and the secondary sedimentation tank. Flocs formed and settled, resulting in clear water quality. The customer was very satisfied with the results.
